Thank you for subscribing, and we hope you enjoy this week’s newsletter.
Happy Shavuot to all of you who celebrate! This wonderful feast celebrates both the giving of the Torah at Mount Sinai and the giving of the Spirit in Acts 2. As we bring our gifts to Him, He showers us with gifts and joy in abundance!
On our podcast this week, Christine and I chatted about how to clearly (and accurately) hear the voice of God. We discussed the importance of never allowing the things we think we hear to override what God's Word clearly says in the Bible. We also shared stories of when God asked us to wait for His answers. We hope you enjoy this special
Shavuot edition!
I also uploaded a short video about
homeschooling. Sometimes we feel like we are being pulled in 100 different directions as homeschoolers. If we focus on everything, we'll accomplish nothing! In Daniel 12:4 we read that at the time of the end, many will run to and fro, and knowledge will increase. That sounds just like our crazy lives! So in this video, I shared 3 tips for stopping the crazy and finding our focus in homeschooling.
My goal is to bring a little bit of Scripture,
a sprinkle of encouragement, and a dash of hope to your day. I love a good cup of coffee (brewed like this), but if some other
drink is more your style, I'm sure that will work. The point is for you to take a break from crazy living, just long enough for a sip of joy.
Daily Bible Verse
"But this I confess to you, that according to the Way which they call a sect, so I worship the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the
Torah and in the Prophets." (Acts 24:14, NKJV)

Thank you for taking time to sip coffee with me. I hope your
day is tov—good and accomplishing what the Creator designed you for. Everything your hand finds to do, do it with all your might and for the glory of Yah!
Shalom,
