This week Christine and I enjoyed sharing stories we've learned about how to impart wisdom to our children, beginning with Proverbs 1:7. Imposing discipline and excellence on our children helps them mature to be the adult Yehovah wants them to be! They learn critical thinking and how to discern truth from lies. They also learn basic character skills that are needed to prosper in life. When homeschooling is based on the Bible, it becomes the primary tool to help them be wise.

My goal is to bring a little bit of Scripture, a sprinkle of encouragement, and a dash of hope to your day. I love a good cup of coffee (brewed like this), but if some other drink is more your style, I'm sure that will work. The point is for you to take a break from crazy living, just long enough for a sip of joy.

Torah Sisters Retreat

In just over one week, I'll be on my way to the Torah Sisters Retreat in Grass Lake, Michigan. I'll be speaking two times: once on how Courage Is Seeking Help, and then on how Courage is Standing Firm.
