Blessings on you from the Elliott family!
Thank you for subscribing, and we hope you enjoy this week’s newsletter. I have been thinking a lot about how the Hebrew people educated their children, especially as it contrasts with modern educational methods. I made two videos (and two matching blog posts) to share what I've studied. I keep finding myself pondering on
little bits of wisdom I've gleaned. Otherwise this week, we've been working on Word Power and Science, and I also recorded a new video for pregnant women on questions a prospective doula or midwife might ask them. (If you enjoy this kind of video, please LIKE and SUBSCRIBE to our new Fruitful Seasons YouTube channel!) My goal is to bring a little bit of Scripture, a sprinkle of encouragement, and a dash of hope to your day. I love a good cup of
coffee (brewed like this), but if some other drink is more your style, I'm sure that will work. The point is for you to take a
break from crazy living, just long enough for a sip of joy.
Daily Bible Verse"Train up a child in the way he should go, and even when he is old, he will not depart from it." (Proverbs 22:6)

aside for or assign to a specific function, task, or purpose; to immerse in an activity for a specific task. Source
Recently, I conducted a fascinating Bible study that I’m excited to share with you. I decided to explore all the Hebrew words used in the Bible to describe a child, from infancy through young adulthood. My goal was to gain insight into how the Bible views the stages of a child’s growth
and what this means for family dynamics. Let’s dive into the beautiful progression of these Hebrew terms and the wisdom they offer for parenting. Watch Now
Foundations of Torah High School Journal might have been written for high-school students, but adults of all ages
have fallen in love with it, as they journal their way through the annual Torah-reading schedule. Each week’s journal pages include a summary of the Torah portion and haftarah, study questions, a space for prayer requests, a memory verse, and application questions to help you put into practice what you have read in Scripture. Are you starting a new sourdough starter after Passover? (Here is a good blog post
by our friend Christine on how to start a starter.) Kraig's sourdough recipe is really great! We have been using it for several years now, and it makes beautiful bread. There is also a linked video if you'd like to watch it being made. Get the Recipe Here
Thank you for taking time to sip coffee with me. I hope your
