Blessings on you from the Elliott family!
Thank you for subscribing, and we hope you enjoy this week’s newsletter.
Today I wanted to share some videos from the Torah Sisters Retreat in May. I spoke twice, and I hope it was a blessing to many, but hearing from the other speakers was refreshing to me!
One of the best ideas I've heard is for women to use these videos to plan their own mini-retreat at home with several close friends. You could have a weekend getaway at an AirBNB, or just have each friend help prepare food for an all-day event at home.
The Torah Sisters Retreat playlist includes worship music and short videos, in addition to the
main speakers, so that you really can host your own little retreat. Don't forget to include prayer time, as well as a few fun things to help you build memories together.
Speaking of retreats...
The Bible commands us to have a retreat each year. We know it as Sukkot, or the Feast of Tabernacles. Leviticus 23 tells us to gather with other believers during Yehovah's feast days. Sukkot is an opportunity to spend 8 whole days with like-minded friends! It's truly an amazing week!
If you have never had the opportunity to spend Sukkot with others, may I invite you to my congregation's Sukkot in Michigan? You can get more information about it here:
Last but not least, our Homeschooling Torah curriculum is
going to be having our Big Summer Sale through July 3. This is the best price of the whole year, so definitely check it out!
Thank you for taking time to sip coffee with me. I hope your
day is tov—good and accomplishing what the Creator designed you for. Everything your hand finds to do, do it with all your might and for the glory of Yah!
Shalom,
~Anne
